Janet was a jewel to all who knew and loved her. She had a vivid personality and outgoing character. Janet married the love of her life, Willard Kohlmeier, on October 5, 1961 and to this union brought three children. She had a creative niche and touch for hair styling and treatment. She worked as the owner of the salon and served the Belleville community for over 32 years, until her retirement. In her later years she enjoyed playing Bingo, quilting and spending time with her grandkids. Moments spent with her family and loved ones were her greatest passions. She was a loving mom, grandma, sister and friend. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Willard Kohlmeier both parents, George Sr and Mabel (Schmidt) Koderhandt and her brother, George Koderhandt Jr.
