Lorraine G. Casey, nee Englert, 85 of Troy, IL, formerly of Cahokia, IL, passed away at her home peacefully on Wednesday, August 31,2016.

Mrs. Casey was born on October 13, 1930 in St. Louis, Missouri. She was the daughter of George Englert & Clara Mary McCray, nee Spitz and George McCray. She married Thomas R Casey on April 13, 1948. He passed away January 12, 1994.

Mrs. Casey worked for many years as an LPN at St Pauls Nursing Home in Belleville, IL. She was a long time member of Holy Family Church...

Mrs. Casey was born on October 13, 1930 in St. Louis, Missouri. She was the daughter of George Englert & Clara Mary McCray, nee Spitz and George McCray. She married Thomas R Casey on April 13, 1948. He passed away January 12, 1994.

Mrs. Casey worked for many years as an LPN at St Pauls Nursing Home in Belleville, IL. She was a long time member of Holy Family Church quilting club in Cahokia, IL. She loved to quilt, sew, crochet and knit. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Casey was a life long St. Louis Cardinal Fan.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years Thomas R Casey, her father George Englert, mother Clara Mary, nee Spitz, and her step-father Dick McCray.

Surviving are her 3 sons, Michael (Brenda) Casey of Waterloo, IL., Dennis Casey of Fenton, Mo, & Kevin (April) Casey of Troy, IL. Mrs. Casey is survived by 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and her beloved dog Khloe.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, IL on Tuesday September 6, 2016. Friends and family can call at 11:00 AM. Services will begin at 1:00 PM. Pastor Christopher Funkhouser officiating.
