Roberta "Bobbie" Jean Rapp, 79, born in Belleville, IL on March 28, 1938, passed away at her residence in Shiloh, IL on May 6, 2017.

Roberta enjoyed gardening and loved flowers. She cherished her involvement with "Forever Friends", a group who remained close since childhood, and met for lunch on a regular basis. As a former Administrative Assistant for the St. Clair County Highway Department, she became a member of their Retirees Club as well.

Roberta enjoyed gardening and loved flowers. She cherished her involvement with "Forever Friends", a group who remained close since childhood, and met for lunch on a regular basis. She was preceded in death by husband Norbert O. Rapp, whom she married on October 30, 1957; her parents William and Mildred (nee Westwood) Berger, Sr.; and her brother William Berger Jr.

She is survived by her sons Jay (Jane) Rapp of Troy, Il, Mark (Jonell) Rapp, of Alexandria, MN, and Timothy (Carol) Rapp of Aviston, IL; her grandchildren Nicholas (Anna) Rapp, Michael Rapp, Thomas Rapp, Matthew Rapp, Timothy Rapp, Grace Rapp, and Adam Rapp; her great grandchild Lyla Rapp; her sister-in-law Carole Berger; and her nephews Todd ( Karen) Berger, Jeff ( Carrie) Berger, Greg (Angela) Berger, and William "BJ" (Kimberly) Berger.

Visitation: Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. on Friday May 12 2017 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL.

Funeral: Services will be held Friday, May 12, 2017 at Lake View Funeral Home at 6 p.m., with Deacon Charlie Litteken officiating. Interment is private and will be held at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
