Thomas E. Foltz, 67, of Belleville, IL, born June 13, 1950 in Marshall, MO, passed away August 4, 2017 in Belleville.

Tom was a proud Navy veteran with 10 years of active duty service. He worked in the Information Technology field. He spent time at the Pentagon and was well traveled in Europe and many other global places. Thomas E. Foltz, 67, of Belleville, IL, born June 13, 1950 in Marshall, MO, passed away August 4, 2017 in Belleville.

Tom was a proud Navy veteran with 10 years of active duty service. He worked in the Information Technology field. He spent time at the Pentagon and was well traveled in Europe and many other global places. Tom would spend the next 33 years working for Dow Jones/The Wall Street Journal; Wang Global, Bridge-Telerate, and Getronics. He was an avid photographer, a hobby he loved to share with his family. He also enjoyed playing in a men's volleyball league.

Tom was quite the jokester known for his wicked sense of humor and his straight-faced one liners. His proudest moments though were spent at countless sporting events, concerts, plays and competitive dance competitions watching all 5 of his children participate in all their activities.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles E. and Dona F, nee Moore, Foltz; a son, Nathan C.D. Miller; a grandson Jacob R, Foltz; his mother and father-in-law, Charles L. and Martha L., nee Eisele, Eatherton; and a brother-in-law, Terry Eatherton.

Mr. Foltz is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Sherri, nee Eatherton, Foltz; a son, Bobby (Katie Webb) Foltz; three daughters, Candice DeLarm, Taylor Foltz, and Victoria Foltz; five grandchildren, Jordon Padgett, Kaitlyn Foltz, Logan Cole, Trevor Cole, and Gavin Brawley; and three brothers, Charles (Cheryl) Foltz, John Bill (Rhonda) Foltz, and Bruce (Shellie) Foltz; a brother-in-law, Dennis (Gwen) Eatherton; two sisters-in-law, Susan (Jim) Chapman and Dianna Eatherton; as well as countless nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many friends that will miss him dearly.

Visitation: Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Lake View Funeral Home, 5000 N. Illinois St., Fairview Heights, IL.

Service: A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Lake View Funeral Home. Per his wishes, cremation is to be conducted.
