William Lance "Bill" Parker, 72, of Fairview Heights, Illinois, born April 17, 1942, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, passed away, Tuesday, March 24, 2015, in Belleville, Illinois.

Bill proudly served his country, retiring from the United States Air Force. After retiring from the United States Air Force, Bill worked at and retired from the United States Postal Service. He was a member of the Filipino-American Association of Southern Illinois. He enjoyed bowling and being with family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, who will truly be missed by all who knew...

William Lance "Bill" Parker, 72, of Fairview Heights, Illinois, born April 17, 1942, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, passed away, Tuesday, March 24, 2015, in Belleville, Illinois.

Bill proudly served his country, retiring from the United States Air Force. After retiring from the United States Air Force, Bill worked at and retired from the United States Postal Service. He was a member of the Filipino-American Association of Southern Illinois. He enjoyed bowling and being with family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, who will truly be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by a son, Ricardo Candido; his parents, Aaron and Veola, nee McPhail, Parker; two sisters, Linda Ann Parker and Maria Annette Goodall; and a brother-in-law, Sil Smith.

Surviving are his loving wife of 43 years, Eustaquia "Tess" Parker, nee Candido; his children, Perlita "Pearly" (Terry) Guyer, of Belleville, Illinois, Diana (Al) Stewart, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, and Mary Lynne Overstreet, of Fairview Heights, Illinois; his grandchildren, Tonya (Nick) Govero, Jason (Tanya) Guyer, McKenna Stewart, Micah Stewart, Maleah Stewart, Will Overstreet, and Tia Overstreet; his great grandchildren, Ruger, Noah, Evelyn, Emma, and Shayla; a brother, Clifford A. (Precy) Parker, of Belleville, Illinois; a sister, Jacqueline Parker-Smith, of Indianapolis, Indiana; a brother-in-law, Butch Goodall; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral: Services will be held at Noon, Saturday, April 4, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
